An Important Update from Online Retailer Conference & Expo
The Online Retailer team continue to express our concern for everyone impacted as result of the worsening COVID situation in Australia.
In the context of the extended NSW lockdown, we have made the necessary decision to cancel the Online Retailer Conference & Expo, which was planned to be held at ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour from 29 - 30 September 2021.
Unfortunately, with the peak retail sales period in November and no certainty over whether restrictions would be eased before the start of that peak, we have been left with no real window to confidently plan an alternative for a successful conference and expo in 2021.
Online Retailer Conference & Expo will now be held in our traditional dates on 20 - 21 July 2022.
It is our intention to deliver the Australia Post ORIAS later in the year in a face-to-face format, subject to the easing of restrictions as Australia achieves the necessary vaccination thresholds. We will be reviewing this position for further updates in the coming weeks.
RX (Reed Exhibitions), organisers of Online Retailer Conference & Expo & ORIAS, will continue to monitor the situation closely and as it evolves, we will act on the advice from the Australian Government Department of Health and state/local health departments.
Our number one priority is the health and safety of our exhibitors, delegates, industry partners and staff and, as such, we will remain guided by the expert advice of the public health authorities.
We fully understand and appreciate the desire of the industry to return to face-to-face events and we will do our utmost to help all our customers, partners and attendees to prepare for the 2022 dates.
We would like to thank everyone for the encouragement and support in the lead up to Online Retailer and we look forward to making the 2022 event a huge success. For all paid ticket holders, your ticket fees will be refunded accordingly.
