Chris is a partner in Deloitte Australia’s Supply Chain and Procurement practice with over 20 years’ experience. His passion lies in the use of data to eliminate waste. He has focused on waste in the supply chain such as excess working capital and complex supply networks.

He is particularly focused on questions relating to the seamless capture of data - how do we make it “just happen” without human intervention? How can we take decisions that prevent costs being incurred in the first place and what is the full value of buying inherently reliable materials and services? How does change gain momentum and what role should qualitative data play?

He believes that curiosity and determination are the most powerful assets in this type of work, particularly when they are engendered in a team with strong technical competence.
