Nicknamed the ‘People Whisperer’, Jo has a genuine love of people, connections and making a difference that has taken her down an unconventional track into retail. With a background in nursing, Jo is motivated by a desire to enhance the community around her and she does so with authenticity and exceptional service.
Jo co-founded Hunting for George, an online homewares brand in 2010 that focussed on creating the ultimate experience for customers. Setting her sights on developing the Hunting for George community, she created an exceptional customer experience within multiple touch points that customers loved interacting with. Part of this journey was creating a positive team culture and holistic working environment that has contributed to Hunting for George becoming a ‘disruptor’ in the industry.
In 2019, Jo was positioned at no. 20 in the Top 50 People In E-Commerce by Internet Retailing for her efforts in creating positive team culture & CX at Hunting for George.
