A natural-born entrepreneur, Dion started his career at a young age. Drawing on his background in talent management and digital marketing, he has successfully built and sold businesses and is now back in fast-paced start-up world, this time, in Fintech.
Dion co-founded legendary Australian youth media and marketing agency, Lifelounge, back in 1999.
Over the next 14 years, he grew the business into an award-winning specialist new media and digital marketing company helping established brands to make meaningful connections with young adults
In April 2015 DDB Worldwide, part of the Omincom Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC), acquired Lifelounge. Dion took on the role as Managing Director DDB, where he grew the local business and introduce segmentation to the wider DDB Group via the Lifelounge brand and business model. Dion’s leadership roles have delivered growth to industry and earned many accolades which he is now applying the to the fast-moving Fintech industry and ecosystem.
Dion has held numerous board positions on behalf of the Victorian Government including ACMI and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He’s an advisor to the Victorian Government Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources and is actively involved with the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.
Being at the leading edge, working with new and emerging markets whilst remaining strictly commercial in his approach are the driving forces behind Dion’s business ventures to date.
