With over 15 years of online experience, James has worked in a variety of industries and roles including strategy and optimisation, omnichannel selling, product development and project delivery. James has worked in a range of organisations such as Michael Hill, Virgin Australia, Allianz, Fusion Retail Brands and Ernst & Young.

James is currently Regional Director Customer Success & Retail Practice for Salesforce Commerce Cloud, the category defining leader of enterprise cloud commerce solutions, empowering the world’s leading retailers to continuously innovate in the complex, consumer-driven world.

In James’ most recent role he headed up Michael Hill’s digital channels across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States and launched a multi-region, multi-brand, global commerce solution to showcase Michael Hill internationally and place focus back onto the customer experience.

The Michael Hill Digital team was recently awarded Best Multichannel Retailer at the 2014 Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIAs), the inaugural 2014 Demandware Pacesetter Award (recognising organisations that have driven innovation and business results), were the winner of the 2014 ADMA Creativity & Effectiveness Award for eCommerce and were finalists in the 2015 World Retail Awards – eCommerce retailer of the year.
